New Principal
The Board of Management of Coláiste Iosaef, the Sisters of St. Paul and Co. Limerick VEC are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Seán Twomey, B.A, H.D.E, H. Dip. B.I.S, as Principal of Coláiste Iósaef, Kilmallock.
Mr. Twomey, who is currently Deputy Principal at Coláiste Mhuire, Thurles is returning to Limerick having previously worked in Coláiste Chiaráin, Croom. He brings a wealth of experience to the position having taught in Cork and Australia. He also spent a number of years working with the multinational e-learning company, Thomson NETg and brings much of such work ethic and expertise to his new post.
Mr. Twomey is married to AIMS Award winning choreographer Niamh Twomey of Limerick Musical Society and they have two children.
Commenting this week Mr. Twomey said “The students and staff in Coláiste Iósaef have gained a significant reputation for the excellent work of the College and I feel privileged to be afforded the opportunity to continue the development of Coláiste Iósaef as a school that is recognised for excellence in terms of academic achievement, holistic development, innovative teaching and vibrant, active students.
